RGA was founded in 1993 by Richard and Mary Gizzi. The Gizzi's work individually and collectively has had a profound influence on the hair replacement specialist and industry on a global scale. Working worldwide from Manufacturing Facilities in Asia to the Fashion Cities of Europe to the Hair Stylist to the Stars in Beverly Hills the Gizzi name is known.

Richard’s extensive background in the hair industry and Mary’s wig making and film experience have been harmonized to form the foundation and drive behind Richard Gizzi & Associates.

1965-1981
New Jersey Licensed Barber and Cosmetologist
Owner/operated, Barber Shop, Men’s Hair Styling Shop, Unisex Hair Design Center, Hair Replacement Center. Member of the International Guest Artist Association, AFLCIO Sanctioned. Certified Roffler Franchise, Educator and Demonstrator for major companies, Wella, Fermadoyl, Roffler, Allen Aurthur/Inernational Hair Goods Inc. Trained with Jacob Hoffmann, Allen Benfield Bush founder of ABBA, Tony Beckerman Artistic Director for Image Products and Gerard Matteis Grand Master of the Roffler Razor cutting techniques.

1982-1992
VP International Hair Goods Inc., Minneapolis, MN / Manila Philippines
As VP with IHI Richard expanded the European Market as well as the USA with New Innovations and introductions of major brand name lines. New Man, New Woman and Caring Touch Cranial Prostheses. Expanding into the Woman markets and working directly with the factory to develop new technologies for the distributors and retailers who were trained and certified on a regular bases, accounting for the over 2 million miles of air travel in a 10 year span working around the world.

1993-1999
Co-Founder. Richard Gizzi and Associates, Minneapolis, MN
Established International wholesale and Distribution Network offering high end custom manufacturing, education and marketing materials to the industry. Established Volu-Med Clinics a concept that marketed both cosmetic and surgical hair restoration in a clinical setting with a doctor on staff. Other product developments and innovations during this time period still have a profound appeal with a proven track record. Silicium™ Silicone Technology, HairGraft Cosmetic Hair Restoration and Adhesio™ Medical Grade Tape and Adhesives.

2000-2003
Executive VP, Apollo International Products, Kansas City, MO
Integrated design and manufacturing of Designer 2000 Hair Line, ACR, Apollo Cosmetic Reconstruction and Personality Hair for medical related hairloss. This are the factors that gave the Apollo Organization cutting edge technology to reclaim it’s competitive edge in the market. The next project was the expansion of Stylex a subsidiary of Apollo that marketed to non-Apollo Dealers. Through trade publications, trade show exposure and follow up training seminars around the country Stylex was being considered as a serious competitive force in the hair industry for Innovation, Quality Products and Customer Service.

Responsible for all wigs, hair pieces and make up for Acting Staff 1982 - 1959 Freelance wig maker for theater, film and other forms of print and video media. Also made custom wigs for individuals living with hair loss due to Chemotheraphy, Alopecia and other related causes

Responsible for technical service staff help in development of the Caring Touch cranial prosthesis Medical Marketing program, New Woman hair integration as well education and training and trade shows.
